Greetings all,

Thought I would take the time to clear up a few details...looking further down the string I see that a past client of mine has lost track of the truth regarding several facts related to this deal gone sour...I can throw a little light on the truth for all.

On 4-5-12, on this board Joe says, “I'm referring to David Harris, who sold us two separate pups.” Joe never bought two separate pups, Joe never fully paid for ONE pup. After complaining about the first pups' health, and contacting me about sending him money for impending Vet bills I gave him the standard answer, if you are unhappy with the pup for any reason PUT IT DOWN, and I will send you a better pup.

I assume this was done, never received proof of euthanasia. On 6-12-11, Joe writes “Because of our concerns with what happened with this pup, I flew out to meet the breeder .” Not quite...Joe was on a business trip for his work and asked if he could make a short drive up to see the dogs...I only mention this because Joe wants to sound like he is out the expense of the trip...not the case.

Joe did visit the farm, Joe did pick out a nice pup, this pup was also evaluated by several experienced dog-men...two offered to buy the pup on the spot...maybe the little guy didn't look that bad?? When the time came to send the pup out on an AIRLINE...as any of you know who have ever shipped or received a pup via Airline, the pup had the required HEALTH inspection, plus fecal test, by a Licensed Veterinarian and passed...I only mention this to say there were more people deciding the health of the pup than just myself.

I shipped the pup that Joe personally picked out. Now Joe has problems of all kinds...but nothing that couldn't be fixed if I would just send him a little cash...same as the first pup. Money for vet, money for training, money for special food...good grief!

Lastly, and this is the part I really focus on...Joe resorts to telling me if I don't send him money and 'help' him out, he is going to have to go before the Boerboel community and trash my good name. On 4-5 -12, Joe wrote, “I posted requests for help on this board last year and in fairness to David, kept his name out of it to try to get him to at least respond to us, but like I said that never happened.” Yeah, he was trying his petty, ill-conceived attempt at extorting money from a reputable breeder in exchange for him keeping a perfectly healthy pup that had never been fully paid for in the first place...Hell of a deal, I am just not interested!

Oh yeah, I also heard that Joe ended up getting more for the pup than he had paid for it. Hell of a deal.

Puppies are not widgets. I tell everyone that calls that you can get a bad Boerboel from ANY Breeder, you can get one from me too...but I will do my utmost to see that each buyer gets his moneys' worth. Joe got his moneys' worth.

This world is full of swindlers and fools...I am neither. Joe, I believe you are both.

DKH
