Subject: Mizpah Boerboels in Ohio

Some character in Ohio claims they purchased the name Mizpah Boerboels and can legally breed dogs as Mizpah Boerboels. I thought it would be good to give a heads-up in case anyone starts seeing puppies from Mizpah Boerboels advertised for sale. Here is what they posted on Facebook:

Mizpah Boerboels Attention to all in the Boerboel community. I TIMOTHY DOLD am the sole legal owner and breeder of a family of dogs known as Mizpah Boerboels. There is a small group of less than wonderful people whom are having a most difficult time accepting this. I have been very tolerant and only responded to a few of their posts with facts. Of course these facts are quickly deleted. Even when Johan Swart confirmed the legalities of this they deleted his post too. From this point forward I will respond to their posts on my page and possibly this one as well. You cannot obtain a Mizpah Boerboel born during the year 2013 or after from anyone but me. The above FB link to Mizpah Boerboels is not yet ready but it is the only FB site that you will find a Boerboel puppy that will carry the Mizpah pedigree and name. There are imposters so ask. When this page is ready I will invite members.

I will continue with Blitzkrieg Boerboels as well.

I rolled in the dirt with nearly every one of my grandfathers dogs while they were pups, I've spent countless hours next to fishing waters and hundreds of breakfasts in the hunting fields, I've learnt his ways, his principles and philosophies often just by the way he looked at me, and the way he disciplined me , the way he taught me the love all that is good and beautiful. What is left of his legacy today? That which lives on through the ones he loved. Do not boast of all you wanted to ask him when he was still alive, you spent not of his final days with him, moments of him gazing upon the lustful hope of a legacy fulfilled, you did not hear his words when the waters of his farm ran full and most of all you do not bear the shame done to his great name by those who mounter over his glory. I do not like to assume but since you tagged me in this post, I consider it safe to think you are requesting a response.
�Woe to the one who thinks legacies can be bought�. Really, What about, Woe to the one who thinks legacies can be sold. Your grandfather offered Mizpah for sale prior to his death, not his legacy. The legacy of your grandfather is forever cut into stone. It cannot now be altered. It began on the sunrise of his birth and was firmed on the sunset of his passing. I have never brought nor will I bring disrespect to him.
I do not know you and you do not know me. I could make assumptions of your character. A quick look at your Facebook page shows that in the year leading up to your grandfathers passing you made statements such as, and I quote.
�New Year`s Eve it is, enjoy the parties, watch for pigs, and get back to us safe everyone.� December 31, 2009
�I believe in drug testing, which drug shall we test today?� January 28th 2010
�No women, No cry, No ganja, No fly.� February 4th 2010
�I really want to fight again.� March 1st 2010
�Judo tonight, wrestling tomorrow night, wrestling and judo on Wednesday, wrestling on Thursday, gym and boxing on Friday, wrestling on Saturday�� story of my life!� July 12, 2010

One could assume that you have no regard for the law, abuse drugs, and like to get into fights. Of course they very likely could be wrong but those are your words. Of course one could just brush it off as a young athletic man whom likes to have a good time. It is not my concern or my business.
Our perception is not always reality.
Reality is. Your grandfather did NOT leave Mizpah to you or your mother. A good question would be, why? Reality is. Mizpah Boerboels died while you and your mother did nothing. Reality is. These were your grandfather`s dogs and you and yours let them starve to death. Reality is. The Yorke-Hart family only gained interest in Mizpah when I and a select few whom helped me became involved in saving the dogs of Mizpah. Reality is. You and your mother have played the sympathy card to its fullest extent with social media.
You are correct with one statement. � most of all you do not bear the shame done to his great name by those who mounter over his glory�. I in fact do not bear any shame�.. For all that I am guilty of is helping the Boerboels of Mizpah.
I have found that when one thinks that they will not get their way, they quickly reveal their true character. Every correspondence in regards to this matter only came to pass after all of you and your families back door attempts failed. Even then the messages reeked with arrogance, intimidation, and attitude.
This is not about me, you, or anyone else. This is about scraping together what is left of a family of dogs known as Mizpah Boerboels. A family of Boerboels that you and your mother left forgotten and dying after your grandfather`s death. My only loyalty need be to them. This loyalty comes out of respect for Lucas van der Merwe. It is pitiful that this sentiment had to originate from outside of his family.
I have sat quietly, watching, and listening. You and yours continue to reveal your character. If you do not like eating from the seeds that you have sown, if you do not like lying in the bed that you have made, then question only your motivations.
