Greetings,
It always tickles me when people in the city tell me that in spite of my best efforts, there is no longer a need for a 'farm-dog', and the breed would be better served to accept that the historical use of the breed needs to adjust to today's demands. This breed can live in town, this dog can excell at protection, this dog can make a great companion animal...but the BEST indication of a Boerboel's FULL potential is the typical work-day on the farm.

Day after day, the wear and tear of farm duties will show the durability of a dog...if there is a weak spot, it will be found. Glad to see you here.

DKH
