Whilst I think that bringing an issue to light is helpful I also think that by not naming the breeder you are doing others who like myself live and breed in Scotland a disservice.
If what you are saying is fact, then I believe you should name the breeder.
I don't post a great deal on forums but every now and then something brings be to post and this is one such occasion.
As chairman of the UKBC 'buyer beware' is something I (and the rest of the commitee) stongly believe in. Which is why any accredited breeder must sign up to the clubs code of ethics, http://www.ukbc.co.uk/ethics.html, it is at least a starting point to protect puppy buyers. Please also see the links below. Whilst helping breeders the UKBC believes that we should put more empasis on protecting the puppy buyer and that breeders should be prepared to stand behind their breeding decisions and their dogs.

If the breeder you are posting about is a UKBC breeder please tell us, as we can then take action.
