First Annual Boerboel Classic!!!
Hallettsville, TX Expo Center March 6th Registration beins at 8am Show begins at 11am.



We would like to cordially invite you to the first annual Boerboel classic! Here we can gather for fun, food and shows open to all Boerboel owners and breeders! All reputable registries are accepted!


Entry Fee’s are set at $25 per dog, or 5 dogs for $100. There is a $5 membership fee.

CLASSES: Puppy Class (Winner of each class will move on to BEST OF BREED).
Female Class
Male Class


Prizes : Best of Breed - Engraved Trophy

Best Male - Rosette Ribbon

Best Female - Rosette Ribbon

Best Puppy - Rosette Ribbon

(Second and Third places will be awarded Ribbons)
Breakdown of Classes:



PUPPY CLASS - This class is open to all intact puppies between the ages of 3-12 months. Both male and female will compete for best of puppy class. Each placing will be awarded with prizes as set in the first page. Puppies must be up to date on all vaccinations and wormings, including rabies and bordatella vaccinations.
Registration certificates are needed to enter puppies into the show. More than one puppy per owner may be entered, but not handled by the same person. Only one dog per handler. Puppies must be familiar with a leash and walking.

FEMALE CLASS – This class is open to all intact bitches over the age of 13 months. Pregnant bitches are permitted to show if there are no signs of stress. Females in heat may be shown but must be returned to a secure crate in a designated area immediately after showing. All females must remain on leash at all times. More than one bitch may be entered, only one dog per handler. Females with puppies younger than 5 weeks will not be permitted. Puppies are allowed to accompany bitches over the age of 8 weeks, granted they have all necessary vaccinations. Females with puppies will be asked to remain in the designated area along with bitches in heat.

MALE CLASS - This class is open to all intact dogs over the age of 13 months. All dogs MUST remain on leash at all times, no males are allowed within 50feet of the designated females in heat or with puppy area. Males are to remain separate, and handled by able-bodied handlers. NO overly aggressive males will be admitted. No breeding is to take place on the show grounds. Males with dog aggression are no permitted out and about walking. Please use good judgment when around other intact males.

BEST OF BREED – Best of breed will consist of the top winners from each category above. They will compete against each other and be judged on, temperament, breed standard, and overall representation of the breeds working ability. This will be our TOP winner of the year. Best of breed will have a panel of 3 judges, one from each class above. The judges will determine who will become the 2010 Boerboel Classic South African Boerboel Best of Breed.

Day of show entries are admissible before the first show has taken place! Registration begins at 8am at the Hallettsville, Tx Expo Center on March 6th 2010
