Thanks to help from Voiceless-MI, Tula has been pulled from the high-kill shelter. She is now with a temporary foster. She had her initial vet check-up, and unfortunately she tested positive for heartworm. They got Tula's bloodwork back this afternoon and she in an advanced stage -- she is high antigen positive and microfilaria positive.

I have set up a Chip In fund for donations that will go directly to Tula's medical expenses while she is being fostered while we try to find her a permanent home. Even if you can only donate $5 or $10, it will go a long way to helping Tula. She has had a rough life so far, and remains a very sweet, loving girl. Thank you, and God bless!
