Subject: North Michigan Boerboel in need of rescue

Today I got one of those calls that you hate to get. A person named Chris has adopted a two year old boerboel female from Iowa and she is having aggression issues.

This dog was purchased as a breeding female but had a vaginal prolapse making her unsuitable for breeding. So she was spayed and put up for adoption. Chris decided that she was a beautiful dog and he did not want her to be put to sleep. So he went to Iowa from to meet the dog. He and her hit it off immediately. It was like love at first site.

Once they arrived home and the dog began to show signs of aggression towards small animals and strange people. At that point Chris decided to dial up a local trainer to come into his home to work with her. His hopes of having her trained out of these negative behaviors began to fade as the dog kept showing these signs of aggression.

Chris new that the dog was not a lost cause he just did not have the time to give her attention train and exercise her the way that she needed. He was also did not want to take the chance of his wife walk the dog or take her out and the dog then decided to charge a cat or stranger.

He found my website and gave me a call. He told me the story of the dogs situation. I want to help him save this dogs life. If anyone know of someone who may be interested in saving a beautiful Boerboel female please visit my website boerboelpuppy.com I will post pictures there and more details about this dog.
