Some registries permit outcrossing, but not allowing the offspring to be registered as "pure" without first having 3 generations of being bred back into the mainstream "breed." Notice the quotes, as dogs don't read papers. It is all about the traits, not papers.

F1 = 50/50

F2 = 75/25

F3 = 87.5/12.5

F4 = not worth being concerned about at only 6% out.
