She had a squabble with one of the older pups and got a cut on her face and a bruise on her shoulder. Nothing serious but a blood vessel burst under her skin and the wound had to be drained.

As most of my dogs run free together around the farm in a mixed group and are not confined to kennels, one gets the occasional disagreement and squabble which generally leads to minor injuries. Usually there are 20 dogs mixing freely around the farm. This freedom of course gives them scope to have the occasional squabble but the occasional minor cut and bruise is a small price to pay for dogs that are mentally healthy and lead a normal full life, rather than gazing out at the world through the bars or wire of a run.
