What I don't understand, is I have heard over and over that Boerboels did orginally come in the black color, yet for years and years, not a single one was accepted by the SABT. Since the SABT accepted the piebalds, I guess breeders figured they could get the black ones to be recongized and in Nov 08, they sure did. I think that would be supply and demand. The breeders supplied the color and demanded the rules be changed!! Good way to follow a set standard. I remember some of the first black ones to reappear did not have a complete pedigree on them and they were both Muller dogs. So I would like to know what breed they used to bring back the black.
