The difference is that this is John Blackwell's board and most of the pictures posted here - with very few exceptions - are puppies that are either from John directly or from his lines. That makes them relevant to this board. It's not only look-at-my-cute-puppy but it also acts as an example of what this particular breeder produces.


Then there's this:

Above is, of course, taken from the Yahoo boards home page. So, shouldn't those pictures be going into the "Files" so people who do enjoy looking at puppy pictures can go there, leaving the boards for information and discussion?
Except, of course, for the obvious untruth in the above:
"Those that have many years of experience with the BB as well as those who are beginners and have an interest in learning about the BB are welcome and encouraged to join."
They should change this to "...encouraged to join as long as they either agree with us or don't say anything at all".
