We never leave him alone that long. Typically he goes to a day care or to my parents house. This was the first time being left alone that long - regardless, it was our fault. Now we know and we'll plan it out a little better in the future.

I really like Julie B's response and especially what she said about him possibly reacting. Even though we did take him out before leaving.. maybe he wasn't completely empty. That combined with possible anxiety caused him to react - or act out, I'm guessing??
