The 0/1 Hip status in South Africa is near or equal to the USA(OFA): Excellent/Borderline status. The FCI Classification is A1/ B2 which means that the A1 is excellent hip with no sign of hip dysplasia and the B2 means near normal hip joints.The 1 hips status is thus very good still.

Sarel has been used about ten (10) times in our breeding program with success, he has very good progenes and a good breeding animal. He is in good shape and with no health issues and can be used for many years to come. We still have his grandson, son, and daughter in our breeding program and that is why we are letting him go now. One of his sons has been the UK champion twice and we still have the brother of this dog.

Sarel is a highly recommended boerboel male to any serious breeder.
