Hi Norman , you are correct in the use of motivation to have compliance. I worked a young male Boereboel in trackin , & motivated throught his obedience with a tug toy, & tranasferred this motivation onto his tracking . This seemed to work wonders in keep up his drive & to be able to deal with corrections introduced throughout the tracking training. I teach dealing with corrections early in the training for tracking .
