Christel, I'm not going to name her but - maybe someone else will - butif you wander back through old posts, I think you may figure it out on your own. She is evidently of the opinion that Boerboel temperaments should be more along the lines of a Golden Retriever or maybe a St. Bernard or the average modern-day Bullmastiff and she believes that breeding towards that goal is a "good thing" for the breed. She has previously bred and shown Dogue de Bordeauxs (hope I didn't butcher the spelling there) with the same temperament mindset and for whatever reason has now turned her attention to the Boerboel. Her end goal seemes to be to give us all a bunch of big ole loveable teddybear-dogs that that don't bark, bite, or defend. Just great big bunches of luv.
