Your second question gets quite complicated.....
There are many people who feel the need to "protect" themselves from being followed home. However, and as said in my response to "Ghosts that follow", we have absolutely no evidence that there is anything that we need to protect ourselves from. Additional to that, there is no evidence that such a ritual would even work. The assumption that it does work is based entirely in religious belief rather than evidence. Our organization has chosen to make hypothesis and assumptions based on evidence only. Our evidence has so far shown us that there is nothing to be fearful of. So we do not require anything such as prayer or chant recital to help alleviate fears (that we don't have).
