hi becky, i am familiar with the Lizzy House near Birdsboro but cannot remember exactly what happened there, all i know is what i personally experienced at the Lizzy House on 2 seperate occasions, the first time my friend and myself went down there to check it out after hearing it was haunted, we drove past the house slowly the first time and the house was white with a stack of white boards in a neat pile in front of it, we went down the road about 100 yards to a small place to turn around and when we came back the house was now red brick and the boards were standing up in the form of a fence! my friend, who is famous for being a wus, gunned the car and got out of there, the 2nd experience i had there was about 3 years later, i had told my one friend about what had happened to us there and him being a sceptic he had to see this for himself, well, we went down Lincoln Rd. and everything was normal at the house, he was making fun of me about it, we were driving an old Chrysler he had owned at the time which the dash lights NEVER worked on, my friend had tried fixing them a million times and never could get them to work, in front of the Lizzy house he said that if there is a ghost here she should prove she is there and make his dashlights come on before we got to the sharp curve in the road, we drove down the road and my friend was making fun of me some more about the entire thing, right as we got to the curve his dashlights came on!!!!! needless to say, he stopped making fun of me after that!!! if you have any more questions about ghosts in the Berks county area feel free to email me at rickwylde@bluetruck.net and i'll see if i can help you! :o)
