hey there,
We managed to brush the new blind on the corner tank staurday afternoon.
Sunday we Brushed the back of the Peninsula blind on the same tank and we set corner posts and T posts for the new camping area.

I plan on being down early Saturday to finish brushin blinds and whatever else needs to be done.
Greg

When Terry and I left Sunday the to do list looked like this I believe:

Brush the front of the Peninsula blind

Brush the middle tank blinds

finalize and brush the mallard hole blind
(does this area need decoys to be set out for the season or will they wash down the creek?)

Finish fence and gate for camping area.

So I'll plan on getting a couple more big trailer loads of cane then for Saturday. Did you guys do anything with the dekes on the middle tank? If not, I will this weekend..they need work. There need to be some to the left of the old blind. The dekes in the corner between the blinds are ok. I'll have finished painting mine before the weekend so I'll put them out there. The 'new' and 'improved' flambeaus. :)

And, were you able to pull my trailer behind the 6 wheeler? Just wondering if the tires gummed up bad with mud. Was it just the two of you in the end?

We will use the cane for sure,
we didnt have a 1 7/8 hitch so we just used the pug to get the cane to the bottom. No decoy work was done that I am aware of, I did leave several dozen mixed decoys in the shed, the Magnum mallard drakes need weights, Ill bring line and weights on Saturday.

Roy,

I will have my flatbed down there on Saturday as well. In between the two we should be able to rid Ennis of their cane all-together.

I will not be there this weekend. Weekends are tough for me to get away. I will be going to the lease on Thursday to finish the Mallard hole blind and brush it. Where did yall get the cane from? The brush job on the corner tank blinds look great. Can anybody get away from work on Thursday to make it down there? We saw quite a few ducks on Monday morning while dove hunting out there. We even killed a few dove.
thanks Heath
