I figured this one would get some play.

It's not going to be just demolition. From what I'm hearing rebuilding Iraq could cost us anywhere from $250B- $500B, not to mention American lives.

I think Israel has the right to exist if it treats the Palestinian Arabs under its rule fairly. Otherwise, I don't shed a tear when they suffer the consequences and I say this with my sister-in-law and her kids living in Tel Aviv. I don't believe in ethnic cleansing, greater Israel, and the U.S. policy of Israel always right Arabs always wrong. In other words, I think the Palestinian Arabs have a right to exist as a free people too. I don't think Zionists believe in that. As a matter of fact I've heard the Israeli "settlers" say that very thing. They refer to Palestinian Arabs as "guests" who are entitled to some rights. I tell my wife that the worst thing the Palestinians could do would be to accept Israeli annexation. Then Israeli would be almost 50/50 Jews and Arabs. That would put an end to their claim to be a democracy.

I think Bob Dole said "Capital Hill is Israeli occupied territory."


I think Americans are a fair people. Our policies in the Middle East don't reflect that. They aren't fair and the rest of the world sees it that way. We enforce U.N. resolutions against the Arabs but we either veto them or look the other way when it comes to Israel. Bush has taken the bias to a new level. I always told my friends that someday Americans will be dying for Israel because of our policies. Kinda looks that way doesn't it.
