Absolutely ! Nor should you.Nor should ANYONE.Dont even get me started on one of my favorite rants.Which is-where do these Hollywood stars/actors/actresses/comedians/musicians/etc/get off thinking their opinion of war or anything else political, *matters* anymore than Joe Shmoe man on the street. They seem to think by speaking out on whatever their beliefs are should influence their fans, and, the entire country.Call me crazy, but simply because someone can sing,or can memorize lines,or was blessed with good genes and/or good plastic surgeons, absolutely does NOT make them an expert on politics, and I couldn't care less what their political views are.If anything, their views matter LESS than Joe Shmoe man on the street, because Hollywood lives are so freakin far out of touch with the realm of reality. They should stick to entertaining and leave it at that.

Well, on Sept 12,2001,the words on everyone's lips were that the attacks had " wakened a sleeping giant ". This is what happens when a sleeping giant is wakened.
What I tell myself is-when GWB took office he took an oath to protect this country and that is what he is doing. He didn't ask for 9/11 and it's a different world today.War was declared on *us*,the enemy is in our country, our shores have been attacked and will be again, and the two oceans no longer protect us.No other president has been in this position. This Iraq war is scary though.I wish people would stop comparing it to Desert Storm,it's nothing like Desert Storm. This is MUCH more serious.I certainly hope our motives are pure,I dont want us to be the monsters some people say we are.

KK,jumping down off the soapbox.
