First of all, I would delete your old bookmark to the site.Then just type in www.scrantononline.com,and bookmark the "new" page.It's the old blue on black page.Enter the site, and click on messageboard.It "should" show you the new forum.You can read posts, but cannot post yourself, until you register.
On the register page,it asks for a "valid" email.Some sites consider web-based email (like hotmail) to be invalid.So use your *real* email.But *don't forget* to check the box that says"hide email from public".That way Steamy will have it, but no one else can see it.
When I finished registering and clicked the "submit" button,it gave me an error page,"invalid address",blah blah.So I waited a minute,and tried to reregister.Then it said"sorry the name Kitkat is already taken".I tried logging in, and it worked.So the error page was not "valid", after all.
Once you get registered,you can edit your profile,I'll tell you how to pick a picture from the web,and you can have it appear in your posts as your avatar (your picture,or symbol).
There's all kinds of cool features,like PM'S(private messages),which is like having your own email box within the site.You can send another poster a private message and it will sit in their inbox until they log into the site.
