I support the initiative of complaining to yahoo and creating a new discussion group. Here's what I wrote to Yahoo:

"I was a victim of this false guru for almost a year. In the no longer existent yahoo group I found the accusations and, as I belive, the truth. There are several stories about this man and they confirm one another. The group is also extremely helpful for those who just got out of the "sect". Together with free spreech, I see no reason for closing down the group. I'm extremely surprised... and disappointed."
