Subject: sagging roof

The roof is sagging in one spot due to the support of one truss being warped. How can I go about replacing the warped support. Can I jack up the truss slowly and replace the truss support. Thanks

Hard to believe its just a single truss. Before you do anything run a sting across them to see where they are all at in comparison. If they are all sagging to some extent I usually build a pony wall in the attic space to take the sag out. If it is just one you can jack it to where it should be then nail a rafter along side it. Be careful what you do in the attic space as to not transfer a sag into the ceiling of a house.
