First this is the Borg versus the Galactic Empire. 1 Borg cube probly cannot take an ISD much less an SSD. Secondly, Imperial planets have planetary Shields, orbital defense platforms, and TLs/Ion Cannons that can take an ISD in 2 or 3 shots! The Borg have never faced down an enemy so strong. Assimilation and Adaptation are limited, the Borg cannon eventuall adapt to everything, especially not unmodular tech like that of teh Star Wars universe. No weapon can be altered to be more effective against a shield unless it's yeild is increased. No shield can be further fortified against a weapon unless it is given more power with which to dissipate enemy fire.

The Borg will only survive the battles if they bring overwhelmingly superior firepower to bear against the Imperials and that is simply not their way. The Imps hold a galaxy! All of it's resources! have millions of ISDs alone, not to metion the larger and slightly smaller ships. The Borg have no chance with their mere tens of thousands of ships and thier petty less than quadront of space.

They are out gunned, out armered, out teched, out manned, and outsmarted!

The Borg would be the Empire's bitch!
