Sacrafice, I can't say I've heard of the borg sacraficing a ship for an experiment. Now I've seen the queen sacrifice drones for experiments but not a whole cube.

Now here is an interesting Tid-Bit that Tech/TrekGOD emailed me. Imagine the borg being on really big computer system. Which in essenice they are. Every drone brings x amount of "proccessing power" or hertz to the borg collective to handle/store/proccess information for their adaption technology. For every drone that the Queen kills or is lost would issue a loss to the collective and the data that was stored in the drones would also be lost. If you loose to many you will loose the technological gains from what ever cultures they contained. Now can you imagine in 'Unimatrix Zero' part II how much she lost just to try to get rid of this infection. Plus the whole unicomplex in Endgame. (Taking what was said into consideration) I would imagine that because of Janeway they would have a substantial loss of "performace" (pardon the computer terms) in dealing with technologicly advanced cultures.

--and don't punsih me for using his evil name
I just wanted to bring up this because it would make since as to what would aspire the borg to expand.
