When the crowns and sashes were ordered in December, we did not have enough contestants for three titles each. When we got to pageant weekend, we had enough and were encouraged to host 3 titles, if we so chose. After some discussion, the local team chose to host the three. The outgoing titleholders were kind enough to crown the girls without their own sashes on so the new girls could have sashes...we also had two extra preteen crowns on hand that were ordered (came non colored, so we didn't use them) and used that. The contestants didn't mind; we were all happy we could offer 3! Concerning the rules being followed: we ordered accordingly and were happy to offer a third title on pageant weekend, thanks to the state board. We were not forced to do anything; the board was more than understanding about what we had on hand :) No worries: Rachel and Michaela will receive the correct crowns and sashes as soon as possible. We appreciate your concern and attention to detail. We were happy to have enough girls to end up offering 3 :)
