*As they reach the plains, Schaefrin (Shy) looks around for a stallion. She then repeats the sstory of how she and Sea Shy came to be here to anyone who'll listen*

"I still don't know how my luck turned bad. I used to have it all, I was lead mare, the lead stallion was my mate, and we had a foal and great TT members. Then one day, a young challenging stallion came. He had a few mares of his own, and he had a mate. Sea Shy was about 2 months old at the time. I had no fear of this challenger, because Prince of the Sea had fought off more experienced stallions than this one before. However, this battle was tough on both of them. And then the challenging stallion landed a solid kick on Prince of the Sea, and he fell to the ground. Shocked, Sea Shy and I ran to him to see if he was still alove. But before we could get there, the stallion came at me with teeth bared, trying to seperate me from Sea Shy. Evidently, his mare wanted my filly! I called Sea Shy to me, and we both ran as fast as we could away from there. I may go back sometime, to reclaim my territory and my honor, but only with a strong stallion by my side."

"The image of my mate of 2 years lying on the ground, whether he was dead or not I will never know, still haunts me today."
