The King wakes from his slumber, his fevered brow sweating as his eyes bleed red tears, some form of sickness has taken hold.

"Must....protect.....the...people...."

He rolls out of bed, blood flecking his lips as he is wracked with coughing, and places a chainmail shirt on, then straps his sword to his side and his kite shield to his arm, as he stumbles out his room door, leaning on the wall dragging himself and laughing insanely because of the pain, blood now coming at a trickle from his lips as he heads towards the smell of burning.
