He just stares at her, then he shakes his head. He watches as the woman that called him an insect returns and speaks to the King, then blinks, seeing the gaze of some kind of connection between Skaroe and Sabine. He doesn't know what's going on, of course. He shakes his head and sits down in an empty chair, massaging his temples, eyes shut.
