Subject: A departure.

The king briskly leaves the castle, his mantle swaying behind him. He watches as Mikayla stands beside the open door to the carriage bound for another kingdom, and smiles to her, quickly holding his hand up to allay any speech. He walks up to her, wraps his arms about her waist nad gives her a soft kiss on the lips, then smiles nad rubs his nose against hers.

"Take care of the kingdom while I'm god, mmh? And don't worry. Dith will protect you, as he has done with me."

He then releases her, turning and looking to his personal guard, whom he has requested stay here at the castle.

"Protect her at all costs, Dith. No excuses."

He smirks, then calmly climbs into the carriage, signalling the driver to ride off as he shuts the door. Off on a business trip of a royal variety, the King leaves his kingdom, well-guarded by those of his military.

[Incase you didn't know, that means that I'll be gone. For about 10 days. Yeah, I know, it's a long time without your mighty King Altair, but hey, the Powers That Be are pulling me off to the wilderness. >.o; Heh.. Cya all later!]
