I'm guessing you mean where does the pea gravel come from.
Rocks are mixed in with asphaut and after a few years of rain erroding the tar mix from around the rocks the rocks then break loose. then racecar tires pick them up and scatter them all over. So over the years they build up if there not sweep. Now that we have a sweeper we can keep them under control.
