Why the downgrade?" on 17:10:12 06/11/04 Fri i changed my car to stock suspension because it was a money issue.ez street is paying over $30,000 this year at tracks within 20 minutes to 3 hours from my house.l/s street isnt paying but around $12,000.we like to race every weekend if possible not every 2 months and between about 5 tracks close by that is possible.we also have another ez car that won over $12,000 last year.its just more cost effective to run both cars in same class and it also helps on the car count.i've only had stock suspension on car for 3 weeks and already won $6000.we plan on running some 1/4dragradialdown southlatein the year.as far as nos on the turbo car the 153 was run at prescott where its not legal.that was a new motor run for the first time with nos it would have easily run over 160.the only time the car had gas on it was in huntsville last year in l/s trim and it run 160 with old motor on true 10,s with no wheelie bar.nos is legal in l/s except jackson and prescott.the only reason jackson doesn't allow is because david new i went 160 in huntsville so he changed the rules.it doesnt matter anyway because we hold the track record at jackson 5.18/149,brainerd 5.01/149,hollysprings5.31/148,montgomery5.04/148 and the mph record at phoenix city 154 and prescott 153 in l/s.ez street jackson 5.50/135,benton 5.43/140 which is the world record,holly springs 5.69/135.also the car can easily be converted back to ladder bars in about 45 minutes just a matter of bolting the six bolts on the bars back in and putting the spring back on the shock. lookin forward to racing with yall sum more thanks [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
