Subject: I'm going South.... wish me luck!

I'll try to make a long story short... My daugher
Amanda was invited to go to Myrtle Beach with her friend Amber.
Mandy was also invited to go New York with her friend Katie.
Amber leaving today.... Katie was supposed to leave next Sunday.
Everything would have worked out except Katie's parents decided to leave 2
day early which would mean Mandy would still be in Myrtle beach...
She really wants to go with both (made the commitment with Katie first)...
NOW, I offered to drive down and pick Mandy up and bring her back home early
BUT with the condition that I would not drive that far without seeing my friend Kim (who lives at Myrtle Beach)
I would like to leave Monday or Tuesday.... stay for a day or two...leave Thursday.
Finally got hold of Kim... she was flipping out! Could barely understand her e-mail! She offered to put me up
(so did Amber's Mom who is also a friend of mine), they didn't have to BUT hey, that's cool!! Sooo, it looks like I'm going to Myrtle Beach!!
I am a nervous wreck! I haven't made a *solo* trip like that in years! Gonna drive down with my other sidekick
(daughter) Miranda... haha! I gotta be half insane! lol
I got so much to do and there's so little time!
I have not seen Kim in 13 years... I can't wait! We met in
NC when both of our husbands were in the Military... she became one of my closest friends... She was from Boston & I was from Pa so we *Northerners* hit it off! She moved back to Boston when her husband's enlistment was up... then she made a bold move & moved back to the south~~~
I have only seen her two daughter's in pictures...
I'm sooo excited!!
Well, wish me luck!! I'm off to get some things done!
I'll catch ya all next week...(I'll try to get back here before I go).
