Subject: Hopeful Practice

Lobo walk/limps into the small corral where she had herded her stantler. All she mainly worried about was her back leg. It would need more time to heal. She wanted to see how well her other legs were, and chasing stantler would make her keep going and not want to stop for anything. She looked over the herd and said to herself, "Here goes nothing..." and ran down into the corral. About halfway down, her leg wouldn't work anymore. She slipped and skidded down the rest of the mountain. Lobo knew it would take about a day to heal, so she dug a little hole in the ground, big enough to sleep in for one night. She limped over to a patch of wildflowers and found a few weak healing plants. She wouldn't be able to limp over the mountain, so she would have to let it heal here. She rested in her small sleeping hole.
