She sees Sage O' War entering her island, and she watches him approvingly as he studies the atmosphere. She notices that he sees the yellow, uneatable grass. She decides it is time to speak.

Good Day to you, Sage O' War. I am Calamity, the Lead Mare of this Island. I can see that you are the type I like at this island. You will do well here. Welcome, to Shadow Island.

She trots off quietly, leading him to the few other horses feeding in the lush green grass over the hills and drinking out of the river that trickles away to the sea.
