a freind gave an elderly lady i know an hp computor to play games (the lady is homebound)on,this is all the lady has to do and she asked me to restore the computor for her,she has the restore disks that came with computor--but when i go to restore it for her,a message pops up saying cable loose or hardisk not found---abort installation---check cables---and run FDisk to start restoring----what is an FDisk and does anybody know what i can do to fix this for her? really trying to fix it for her so she can have a little fun with it----i tryed the cables and checked the disks and drives and everything seems ok----got ahold of the guy that gave it to her--he installed extra ram but said had no problem with it--but needed to be restored-hahah--anyway its a hewled packer and has pavillion 7845 and intel on from of drive and has or had windows me installed on it orginally---if anybody can help me make a little old lady happy ,i sure would apreciate it
