hmmm... don't really know the theory... Ronghui would be able to explain in better for you...

It's pretty heavy rock though.. as you have heard.

Something that sounds bluey would be nice... Actually, the classical stuffs you were playing yesterday would sound cool too... but we'll have to see what Ronghui thinks... hehe.

If you have time, you can think of JiaZhuang's piano solo too =)

Actually,which song r u toking abt?
If it's 'Fury',the rock song, den ok, actually wat we mean is play an intro n outro piano solo that sounds bluesy (actually i dunno if it sounds nice but no harm trying rite)

2 ways it can be done..

A piano intro w/o any other instruments 1st.. den upon finish of e piano solo u will play an organ sound to sustain(possibly Am chord or E chord) for the rest of e instruments to come in..

After a simple lead guitar solo(together w the rest of instruments like we did yesterday), we allocate 8 bars for a piano solo b4 vocal comes in..

Abt blues theory, im not gg to brag abt it cos i only noe abt those brief theories fr books n internet n thru' listening to some blues songs, and im by far not a blues expert.. However war i understand is that a typical blues song contains a Blues scale played over it.. Blues scale is nothing but Minor Pentatonic Scale plus a 5th flat note added.. Another characteristic of blues song is they play as 12 bar repeated over and over again.. Typical set of 12 bars: Ichord,IVchord,Ichord(2bars),IVchord(2bars),Ichord(2bars),Vchord,IVchord,Ichord(2bars).. There can be slight variations to this though..

If u toking abt the 2 new songs i tried yesterday, well, i tink they can be put aside first.. I will give u the chords, lyrics to write the piano rift n solo fot them...
