Dear Frens
The Arts Elective Program is a performance approve by NAC (National Arts Council) to perform in Schools(Depending on which sch wans) Jewel will be choreographing a Performane which will last abt 1/2 hr which consist of Dance, Band and a bit of Drama. She asked me whether Pluck N Play is interested in performing
The rehearsal will be tedious and requires a lot of commitment. But we will have the exposure in playing on stage in schools next year. This is a very good chance to push our band to a next peak. At the same time publicity will be done this year in Nov or Dec, Which means we have to get down to work real soon, Songs we play will be self written or changing of lyrics of the songs we play now to suit the performance, bcos it is a story thingy. Let me stress that COMMITMENT is very IMPORTANT!!!! Esp for GR JF and Me bcos we might have to dance as well so double the commitment.
Pls reply to me Thanx

This seems to be a really faboulous chance for experience as well as exposure. I'm sure that performing in schools (primary/secondary) would be fun too! =)

I love the idea. However, my biggest concern time. Nov and Dec is cool, but next year is where I'll be going for IA. Don't know if can perform. It's a 8 to 6 thingy, you know...

Need more info about the time... Also the music stuffs. If we're gonna have to change the songs to rabbits and raindeer or the such, I think its experience, but BAD publicity.

Most likely will be during lunch time and we must be there before lunch time, I think is it possible to take leave or something like that, bcos it is not a everyday thingy, the school will have a choice to employ us to perform anot?
Anyway the songs are not so childish, the theme is REALISING YOUR DREAM, so not so childish but all the song must be in English

Sounds like a chance for performance exposure but Im quite concern about the type of music and performance they looking for.. Are they really looking for a rock band to perform or do they just want that kind whereby got just piano and a bit of classical guitar or stuff like that..

It is really up to jewel to decide wat type of music and since I am the script writer, I can assure that the songs we play will not be that bad, Anyway I think the songs will play up to now is not very rock so not that bad.

Hi, I think its really great to hav a opportunity to participate. I hope the publicity thing will be after our exams, if not all of you will hav a hard time. For me, as long as everything does not clash with the time when I'm working, that will be ok
