I have managed to catch the tune of fengyu. However, no matter which style I choose to sing in, I cannot make my singing sound good. I hate my singing and I think that taking part will only make us look bad. The last time I wanna do is to make complete fool of ourselves.

High notes are hard to hit, and the risk of sounding like killing-chicken and ok is just a thin line away. Singing the high notes such that they sound nice are even harder. I do not believe I can do it.

The second recording is for weiqi. I think my throat is hurt from all the practicing of fengyu, even weiqi I don't like....

Please take some time to listen. They are less than 200kb each.

Qianhui, think you are too hard on yourself and I think it is really not that bad. We can keep practising on Thu and even on Fri to make Feng yue work. I think we should really work on Feng Yue and if we succeed just think of the satisfaction.
Regarding the Singing, I think Yaocheng should go and try. Try and Try until can. He is the lead singer, He should be singing, Just like the rest of us, I train bass Guorong train his drums Ronghui his solo Qianhui his rhythem and Jinfeng her keyboard. I believe all of us just keep on trying until we can do it rite?
So Yaocheng go and try as hard as u can and try to achieve it
PS: No offence to u YC

well.... i'll try .... anyway the vocal chords doesnt work the way ur fingers work .... u can train ur tabs in a week but not ur voice .... but i'll still try probably for the coming performance.(no offence to weikai =p)

2nd thing is ... i feel good abt the harmonising part .. wanna keep it dat way ... so qianhui still gotta sing

3rd thing ... qianhui... u r seriously doing quite fine ... mayb i'm the one dat is giving u pressure(u must understand that i train very week .. so dun tek me as comparison)

No offence to u YC,
U say that the vocal chords is not so easily mastered so u think it is very easy for the other instruments?
Anyway wat u have say is very contradicting dun u think?
U say Vocal chords cannot be train in a week and on the other hand u tell Qianhui that u train every week so does it means that U just cannot sing the bridge or issit that your training have not been intensive enough?
But wat i seriously think is that YC is the lead singer and the lead singer must do wat he must do and that is to sing, Even it means u cannot u will still do it and try to excel on it, If everyone just give up when that cannot do, ex if ronghui cannot play the lead he just give up and call comebody else to play the lead. It will definately reflect badly on him, the same for everyone. All of us have a role to play in the band, If we hold on to our role well, and try our best, I think it will work out one. If Guorong play drumns and he cannot get it, he say,"Ronghui why not u play the drums? I think you play better" then why we have him as a drummer in the first place, No offence to u "bass brother" So wat I am trying to get is that dun escape from our own responsibility.
Next I think the instrument is just as hard to train as the vocal. So pls dun think that we have a easy time practising our instrument., At least for vocal U can train any where any time but for us playing the instrument, It is not that easy esp for guorong since the drums set is not at his house.

Alamak, don't talk talk then quarrel hor...

Anyway, after reading your comments last night, I feel pretty encouraged... hehe, but when I go listen to the mp3 again, haha, I almost smashed my speakers...

But then again, since Ronghui says we should try, I will, and we will. We'll do it. I'm practing everyday... we'll see what happens on Friday.

Cheers.

i think joel dun get it ... and there is some misunderstandings .... there is no problem for me in singing the bridge AT ALL. the prob is at the chorus where there is one high note to hit ... and i cant accurately do it. Well lets not compare instruments. All i wanna sae is dat i cant just keep straining my voice dae after dae. IT WUN WORK all rite. I will probably end up having sore throat and affect the performance. (the onli way i've learned dat will work is to find certain techniques to do it and try it out during jammin sessions... and getting used to it) This cant possibly be done in a week . I'm not escaping responsibilites. How much time is there.

So wat we can do is mek the best out of it .. isnt it ....
i oredi sae dat the harmonising part is nice and wanna keep it .... so the arrangement on who sing which part is very clear and i find it good. I'll overcome my shortcomings but when i do .... i'll still want to keep the arrangement this way .... unless we can come up wif a better one

Okay, let's just concentrate on Sat audition.

Thinking of whether we need practices either tomorrow or

Fri. What we need now is not just practice but teamwork...

We need to work out our probs ASAP.

hehe... I'm pretty relaxed now... In the confusion of all my distracted thoughts (making albums, rising up the charts, sell-out concerts, ONS fans, etc... ), I've woken up to reality. Hehe.

I enjoy playing music. Even more, I enjoy playing music together with someone else. Just enjoy the music making process... I can dream when I'm dead, lOL.
