Subject: California Museum of science and industry

My mother used to teach an oceanography class for kindergartners at the museum back in the late 70s and early 80s. Being that mom was a teacher, I was there taking classes at the same time which saved a lot of money on babysitting. Ha ha ha. That place was fantastic. My favorite memories are the space exploration and rocketry classes. We used to launch model rockets with permission of the owners of course, in the LA Coliseum parking lot at the end of every summer.
