Subject: Copy of email sent to the Membership re: Resignation as Coordinator

This email is to inform the Squad of EMS17 of my resignation. Over the past three years with the help of several key volunteers EMS17 has evolved from what some described as a misfit unit into what I personally feel is the best and most active volunteer unit in the entire Mobile County system.

Since the establishment of the new Board of Directors I have begun delegating many responsibilities to key people, I believe this will make the unit operate more smoothly and with greater efficiency. I hope this is the end result.

For various reasons I have decided to step down as coordinator of EMS17 at this time. I would ask the Board of Directors to take immediate steps and select a new Coordinator to replace me. All materials belonging to or related to EMS17 in my possession will be collected and returned to the station.

I encourage every volunteer of EMS17 support the selection of the Board of Directors in every way possible.
