superman and goku are like the best and most powerful fighters created by man's imagination. they really are super warriors, specially when their emotions run high. the only particular difference i've seen is that goku gets stronger in training, which means he knows more tricks, and he has more experience. he gets stronger simply by pushing his limits to the maximum level it could possibly reach. but superman on the other hand is strong, period. no other manipulating factors. from the time he tapped in his strength, that was it. he could always fight at his max, he always could fight at his full potential. so basically, perhaps, since these guys are both almost limitless in power, we may look at their toughness. and superman obviously could withstand a whle lot more beating than goku could. i could give goku his speed advantage because of his instant transmission technique, but he wears down more easily than superman does. goku might take control of the fight in the beginning, but since superman's source of life energy is the sun, ang goku's source of strength is just within him( except perhaps a little borrowing from the environment), he really won't manage to last long.

First of all.. Goku can also draw energy from the sun. And Supe's speed would be of no consequence to him.. I love Superman- he's always been the S##T. BUUUT if Raditz (Goku's big brother-weakest of all the sayins) was faster than the speed of light, how could supes keep up? Instant transmission would not be needed. Neither would any Super sayin level. I sometimes think that DBZ was somehow made to trump all superhero animation. They are just too strong. And can only keep getting stronger. Any character who could put up a good fight and not kill a sayin, would only make him strong enough to come back and win! However, Im curious- ..to the real animation, anime, and comic book buffs... What superheroes would actually put up a good fight against the Z warriors. Im bias but I actually want to know.. Im sure somebody knows a bunch of stuff that I dont about this!!!
