random fact:

when it comes to cars... i'm cursed. here's a laundry list for you, all in the past two weeks:

1. i broke down in the middle of the night on route 9. a mysterious breakdown, my father insists nothing was wrong with the car.
2. going over a speedbump, one of the glorious, once shiny parts underneath the car... falls off.
3. i experience the closest thing i've ever had to an accident before. i bump some lady on a slippery road. she doesn't care (the most positive thing i have to say about that).
4. my car breaks down again. this was yesterday. somehow related to the air conditioner or some compressor, my dad realizes that's what was wrong with the car when i broke down in the middle of the night.
5. i take an entirely different car home with me so i can get to my dinky new job today. i get in the car, insert the key, turn the key... result... it won't even start. the lights go on, so i'm guessing it's the starter maybe? i dunno.
