Come on guys. Weak defense? Giving up 7 points a game during the regular season? You guys have got to be kidding!
Yes, the Solon comets of 2002 were very good, but they did not dominate the game against Nordonia. I believe the Knights' miscues killed them, and the Comets capitalized on them, that's a fact. If you watch the film though, Nordonia dominated on the ground and gave up very little on defense. In the State Championship game, Dayton CJ also took advantage of two early fumbles and scored which amounted to the two touchdown advantage in that game. CJ was WAY better than Solon last year. Nordonia will be even more dominant this year - on offense and on defense. When Solon comes to Nordonia's home turf, they will be more than surprised at how they will be attacked on the field by the Knight defense and potent offense.
