Lawyer and acting Solicitor General, Mr. David Lambu made his intentions known publicly yesterday at a gathering in Port Moresby to run for the Enga Provincial Seat in the coming Elections.

Being a no nonsense , upfront and straightshooting man of principle he is, in administering justice, fairness and I am sure he will put a good challenge to Peter Ipatas and the others.

Having known this man for a fair while, I think he would make an excellent politician.

His strengths as observed were: -

1. Absolute justice for all irrespective of whether it's in the village, in town or higher up at the echelons on government cycle.

Cases in point 1: Reported his own brothers to police for arrest when he sighted them in possession of home-made guns at Gerehu suburb.

Case in point 2: Blocked and threw out false claims (valuing substantial amounts of money) against the state by Former Premier of Enga Danly Tindiwi and another businessman from Western Highlands. He stood resolute and firm with his decision despite death threats while he was at the Anthony General's Office.

2. He is a very decisive and a forthright leader who likes to tell the truth as it is without fear or favor.

3. David Lambu has amassed many years of experience in the government systems and during his private practice as a lawyer.

4. He has 3 wives when was a heathen but when he became a Christian, he kept all of them and maintains a harmonious relationship with all of them and their children. All these 3 wives live in the same house at Gerehu suburb with minimal or little conflicts among them all. That goes to show he is a good manager and a leader.

5. David Lambu is a highly intelligent and educated top-notch lawyer. His current acting capacity in the position of Solicitor General is a testament to that. He earned it with his merits and not through political cronyism. He is not only educated but has integrity, ethics and principles of no match to many elites of today.

6. David Lambu campaigns with sugary hot air talk, no bribery and lampflaps. He has done this during the last 2 elections.

I admire this man.

Enga, think rationally with your heads and hearts and not with your stomachs when casting votes this year.

Having known this man for a fair while, I think he would make an excellent leader, a statesman so to say.

His strengths as observed were: -

1. Absolute justice for all irrespective of whether it's in the village, in town or higher up at the echelons on government cycle.

Case in point 1: Reported his own brothers to police for arrest when he sighted them in possession of home-made guns at Gerehu suburb.

5. David Lambu is a highly intelligent and an educated top-notch lawyer. His current acting capacity in the position of Solicitor General of PNG is a testament to that. He earned it with his merits and not through political cronyism. He is not only educated but has integrity, ethics and principles of no match to many elites of today. Simply put, he is a round and very balanced person

6. David Lambu campaigns WITHOUT sugary hot air talk, no bribery and lampflaps. He has done this during the last 2 elections.
