Always remember that we need each other more than we think. Among Opones there is no trait that divides us more than the sense of mutual love that bind us- the love that compels us to reach out, to share, to serve and to lead. Now Mathew, Kundapen and Peter are all good persons just as all those who are born into other clans of the tribe of Hela. There are many more good Opone wanes and wanakus out there who have also demonstrated competency to take both responsiblity and lead in a multiplicity of areas such as in the civil service, politics, business, community empowerment, education, medicine, other technical and scientific fields, justice and the peace and in the Lord's ministry. As a united force we stand as one and demand that each one of us reach for our own inhert potentials to contribute to the common cause, not only for the province's cause but for the world were we live in. We need to look out for each other, to support one and another and suffer together. Remember that Opones are supposed to embrace as their apparel the ideals of respect, digity, credibility, and honour (not blind pride, prejudice and greed). Bickering and divisions are just as clear, they deny us progress, prosperity and happiness. What happened to all our wisedom, counsel and instruction from the hakyail anda? In case you may not know where these were passed down from, they were from kairin karenge kamango Gote, haii-tauwe. How can we be misplaced in our times when we have confirmation from the written Word of God and a better promise through Jesus Christ, the kamongon kamongo as our Opene's prophesy has taught us- the idea of yailya-tok so soon. I belive there will never be a better time than now to turn the page and face the world as one.
