Name: Steel Dream
Nickname: None, though some close friends may call him Steel.
Age: ? It's hard to tell. Some days he looks truly in his prime... but sometimes he can look old and haggard indeed.
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Welsh Cob-is in appearance, complete with a bit of feathering, but slightly longer and more refined in appearance. He is in truth not a pure anything but more of a mutt.
Appearance: His color is a rich, coppery-bronze that gleams healthily in the sun, and his mane is a creamy flax, golden and silky. He is tall and muscular without appearing imposing. His presence is quiet but very much there, and his whole demeanor is gently regal. His deep black eyes shine with warmth, depth, and pure intelligence.
Personality: Steel Dream is a strong, forgiving leader. When he believes in something, he truly believes. But he is somewhat deficient in matters of the heart. Having suffered so much emotional pain and heartbreak, he has hardened his heart into steel and locked up all his emotions inside it. And yet, with what family he has he is endlessly loyal, fervently loving, perceptive, and protective. When he loves he loves truly and deeply, with eyes for no one else.
Background Story: He came to Cascade Mountains long ago, when he first became a stallion, seeking adventure and a new life. He was around right when the late Myrakazan, peace to him, was first crowned King. He fell in love with two mares, Venus and Destiny, and got into a big dilemma about which to choose. Eventually he chose Destiny, and, as her mate, became Back-Up LS of Paradise Isle. Together they had a filly called Steel Destiny, soon after which Destiny disppeared into inactivity. Before long, Steel Dream knew that he could not remain her mate, and broke off the nonextistent relationship to take care of Steel Destiny on his own. He helped Myrakazan with his job as much as ever he could, and when the Inquisitor came around, Myrakazan was dethroned and Steel Dream made his replacement. When Myrakazan was brutally murdered by Ziraga in a challenge, Steel swore to protect and care for Myr's foals as though they were his own, and so he has done. He loves them both dearly, and would die for them not only because of his vow to a dear friend.
