I have some information on King George the 1V and some of his descendants. The family history on one of my grandmothers side was done by a relative and also my mother. The story goes on our side that King George the 1V married a divorcee by the name of Anita Fitzherbert they had a son the rightful heir to the throne. However the birth of the son was not recognized in the Kingdom, so he was called John Smith and whisked out of the Kingdom. King George the 1V also married a German princess and they had a daughter. This John Smith married and a couple of his daughters married brothers surname EMMETT. My grandmother's maiden surname was EMMETT. My grandmother's grandfather, 2 of his brothers married 2 of the Smith girls. (John Smith's daughters). I have more information if any one is interested. I have a copy of a document that was copied from another document in possession of a Mrs Marguerite Abey with all the info. When he was born where he went who he married and so forth. Anyone interested can email me at gloria_52@hotmail.com I believe there was another illegitimate child born to King George the 1V, this I was not aware of until I came across King George the 1V site a couple of years ago, was only aware of 1 illegitimate child, this John.
