Sounds like you boys are keeping busy. Can't wait to hear the new material. Matt, sorry to hear about the shoulder. I hope it heals up quickly and that you are in 100% better health soon. Good luck with the potential guitarist, too. ;) I miss you guys terribly. See you in March...talk to you soon.

What style is the third song? Are you going to have any fast punk stuff at all, or is it all slower paced? In my opinion, just from how you played that Midtown cover, you guys seem really capable at doing those sorts of songs. Later my homeys

The songs we make for the album are not going to be fast punk, we've changed to a slower style.

I believe they call it new rock...

don't actually use the term "new rock". that's just what it is. saying it out loud sounds....weird.

just call it rock, and people will ask you to compare it to somebody, because rock is such a broad term. at this point, you will be heard to remark, "it is a sound that is similar to _____ (insert appropriate band name here, such as the stereo, weezer, or the impossibles)."

the term new rock actually comes from fueled by ramen records, whose slogan is "we are the new rock". i associate the term because the better bands on the label are the stereo and the impossibles.
