hello. i am caleb. i am the manager/producer/record label/[insert every other job here] of no conform. this is my first appearance in this forum, as it is the first time i am proud of it (well, not so much the message board part...). Rest assured, the band has always come through, but i am only now pleased with the way they are presenting themselves.

This site, for example, upon my suggestions (and graphic work)has really taken shape in the past month or so. The level of professionalism and cooperation i am getting shows the potential for some serious work on releasing the RM single (current status: UNFINISHED/RECORDING, and that's the official word, from the official guy, so don't believe any other reports)and the possible recording of their new material, which i'm proud to say, is positive growth (in both skill and style/variety).

I have recently provided some practice demos of new songs recorded by the band (not me!)on an 8mm camcorder during their last practice before their hiatus. they're not meant to represent quality, but rather give you a taste of something new.

also, check out the recordings of no conform's live set at riverside camp this past summer. it was recorded with the same camera, but they at least give you an idea what the band sounds like live. plus, there are a few unheard songs stuck in there.

in closing, i'll just give an official close on the current state of affairs:

ALBUMS
"Renaissance Man" [3-song single] - 2 songs Demo stage, 1 to finish recording. Unknown recording/release date.

New full-length - new material being written. possible recording dates this december/january. Unkown release date.

web site - going strong, and working closely with me now. thumbs up! - CONSTANT UPDATES! ...for now....

I am also looking to get an official site up for the label, and will probably look to chuck to be the official webmaster. we'll let you know or something.

P.S. (a.k.a. 'giving credit where credit is due') yeah, chuck has actually been doing a lot of legwork for me lately, what, grabbing the audio from the video tapes and all. also, he's the one who does all the crap i tell him to do for the site. despite all rumors, chuck is alive and well.
